About the role:
As an early member of the sales team, you will play a key role in the expansion of the Canopy customer base and in the develop of our sales processes. Internally you will work closely with Sales Leadership team to report and analyze sales performance and to form new sales strategies.
Externally you will work closely with potential clients and partners, getting them onto and active on the Canopy platform.

You will:
Lead customer introduction and demo calls
Coordinate handoff to Customer Success & streamline communication with Ops team
Design and produce sales collateral
Support pipeline & lead-generation workstreams
Collaborate with leadership team to create a comprehensive sales strategy
Communicate with Syndicate leads to support edge case quieres and any product related questions
Work cross functionally with Finance, Engineering, product, legal, & many others to optimize internal processes and complete deal execution
Learn the venture financing business inside-out, from the ground up
You have:
5+ years of experience in sales
Experience working in a fast-paced, self-starter environment
The ability to think outside the box and take initiative

About the role:
We are looking for a motivated, detailed oriented Sales/Business Development representative to join our growing Sales and Marketing team targeting our venture capital and real estate development prospects. This position will work closely with the Go-to-Market Lead , collaborating to help increase qualified sales activity and help to grow our company’s pipeline.
Internally, your key responsibility will include lead prospecting and qualifying potential customer’s relevancy and compatibility with our platform. You will also help continuously improve the strategy for lead scoring and optimize sales operations. Externally, you will be a key communicator between potential customers and the sales organization, managing initial communications and extending demo invitations to qualified customer leads.
Canopy has home offices in both SF and NY, and is open to remote work on a case by case basis from anywhere in the US!
You will:
Conduct research to prioritize customer leads for sales executives
Analyzing KPIs throughout the sales funnel and customer maturity process to ensure health of customer segments and flag any gaps
Assist sale executives with initial customer communications and demo call set up
Conducting market research to help sales and marketing team strategize for future growth
Cold and warm emails sends to relevant prospects to spread awareness of Canopy
Work cross functionally with Marketing, Sales, Operations to optimize internal processes and complete deal execution
Create external documentation & support materials to expedite customer requests
You have:
Ideally 1-2 years in proactive, outbound sales role in SaaS software or Venture Capital,
Finance, or Real Estate Development industry
Graduated from BA/BS degree from a top-tier university
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Experience working in a fast-paced, self-starter environment
Exceptional ability to communicate effectively and build relationships with key stakeholders
Experience or strong knowledge of the Venture Capital or Startup Ecosystem
Ability to think “outside the box” in terms of sales strategy, ways to further increase sales pipelines
Track record of being self-motivated and hard working

We are looking for a founding product manager to lead product conversations at Canopy. As our first product manager, you will be given significant ownership over the product, strategy, and new feature roadmap at Canopy.

About the role:
As our first product design hire, your ability to lead design initiatives and advocate for users will play a major role in establishing design as a critical function on the team.
Starting day one, you will work closely between functional owners and engineers on hugely impactful projects, helping to prepare handoff-ready design mockups that are both beautiful and intuitive to use.
Over a course of the next 6 months, your eye for consistent design systems combined with the feedback from our engaged customers will help set the stage for our long-term design strategy, guiding everything from how existing users interact with the product, to the branding and creative work that draws in new customers.

Learn the venture financing business inside-out, from the ground up.
You have:
3+ years of design experience within product design, design systems, or UI/UX.
A mastery of design and prototyping tools, including but not limited to: Sketch, Figma, Illustrator, Photoshop, etc.
A strong eye for design, with the ability to distinguish the specific elements that go into creating delightful, beautifully crafted interfaces and design assets.
The ability to evaluate your own work and clearly communicate tradeoffs and design decisions to a team of non-designers.
You can thrive in ambiguous circumstances and have the capacity to both context-switch on demand and quickly find the answer to most questions on your own.
A founder mentality. You are low ego and willing to roll your sleeves up and do whatever needs to be done to help the team succeed.
Experience with prototyping as a means to communicate design solutions.
